Hooked on Fishing, Not on Drugs (HOFNOD)
The HOFNOD weekly classes are held on Wednesdays after school until 5:15
p.m. Children enjoy singing, learning, and a light snack.
Hooked on Fishing, Not on Drugs (HOFNOD) is a national, award-winning program that combines angler education with drug use prevention and community involvement. Through fishing, students focus on building self-esteem, life skills, civic values and aquatic stewardship. For more information about HOFNOD at the national level, visit the Future Fisherman Foundation's web site.
Looking for an opportunity to volunteer, work with our youth, and get some extra fishing time in? Contact Pastor Wainwright for information on becoming a volunteer for the HOFNOD program. Volunteers to provide refreshments are needed, and there is a sign-up sheet at the church. Donations are being accepted for our Youth Ministries Fund that will be used to fund this important program.
